He has also had short fiction published in print and online journals, and has worked as a magazine editor and feature writer.

As a freelance web developer he has built author and publisher websites, including the websites for best-selling children’s authors Andy Griffiths and Carole Wilkinson.

He currently resides in the northern suburbs of Melbourne, Australia, with his partner, their daughter and three ex-chickens.
